The scarf has a thick red border, and a hand - rolled hem. Interestingly enough, the scarf makes good use of negative space, as the "print" portion of the scarf is black, while the Libra symbol, lettering, border, and signature are all exposed parts of the uniquely mottle - dyed scarf.
